Beautiful 1958 MG MGA 1500 Roadster in British Racing Green over Tan Leather and Black Carpets. This right-hand drive MGA Roadster was specifically crafted as a tribute to the post-war MG factory Le Mans race cars with a cut down Plexiglas windshield from Ragtops & Roadsters in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, a front racing valance from Auto Vintagery of La Jolla, CA, and a custom rear license plate mounting bracket with light fitted in the rear. Engine Serial Number “15GB-U-H 35241” indicates this is a high compression, 72hp, 1489cc, 1500 series inline-4 engine. These MGAs were factory fitted with 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, a 4-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with coil springs and wishbones, live rear axle with semi-elliptical springs in the rear, and rack and pinion steering. This MGA features the optional wire wheels and includes a tan tonneau cover, tan convertible top, original size windshield and side windows, wipers, bumpers, knock off tool, hardware, service manual, and a spare set of wheels. In 2010, the interior was restored with re-padded, newly covered leather seats, cowl and door trim, door panels, and new carpeting. The brakes were recently freshened with new front brake drums and a master cylinder. This ’58 MGA Roadster was even awarded “Best in Class MGA” in the August 2010 Indy British Motor Days show.
